Sushi Sean has been serving our island’s favorite sushi since 2012. He started his career by learning from some of the greatest sushi chefs in the world at Tokyo Sushi Academy in Tsukiji, Tokyo, and graduated from the program in 2017.
After leaving Japan, he successfully launched his Sushi Sean 11:11 in Nantucket, aiming to make professional Japanese cuisine more accessible to our community. In 2022, Sean upgraded to a state of the art food truck and continues to hone his craft on Nantucket island.
In 2024, Sushi Sean, who has run Sushi Sean 11:11 from several locations and out of a food truck over the past few years, has now found an official home at 130 Pleasant Street. The new location, 11:11 Market and Bistro, expands on the things everyone loves.
